New System Production Launch in 2010

We began this year off right by launching our latest automated system. The system included four painting robots, three cleaning robots, our patented water wash booths, dual fuel ovens, and a state of the art energy savings and production monitoring software package.

As always the entire system was pre-built on our floor prior to shipment to ensure a quick and smooth production launch. To further reduce customer risk the robot programs were developed in our lab while the equipment was being fabricated allowing production to begin immediately after installation was complete.

When you are ready for a new system ask us how we can assist in launching your production process without fail!

Taking Advantage of the Latest Technology

An article about Thierica Equipment was recently featured on Robotics Online.

Here’s my take…

The Sales staff and Engineers at Thierica equipment Company strive to continually improve our products. This requires us to research the latest technology and spend time with our suppliers to be
aware of their latest improvements.

Over the years, Fanuc robotics has had a complete line of robots available that would cover the requirements of the market. As customer needs changed, Fanuc has adjusted their robot line to accommodate the need. It isn’t always easy to forecast and often requires the customer base to nudge manufacturers to consider new products. The need for a compact robot became evident and the result is the Fanuc Paint Mate 200iA/5L. I just need to figure out if a 6 axis robot was a practical replacement for a 2-axis servo.

When comparing the cost of designing and manufacturing a two axis servo vs. a 6 axis robot the decision was easy. The cost was close to the same and the versatility of the robot closed the deal. We designed an indexing table to work in conjunction with the robot and the result was yet another Thierica Equipment success story.

Part Cleaning & Prep Is Critical To Any Class “A” Surface Finish

LET THIERICA DEVELOP A STRATEGY TO REDUCE SCRAP AND SAVE ENERGY. The use of multiple stage washers is not desirable due to high energy consumption, floor space requirements, and large price tags. Thierica has developed an in-line “dry” cleaning solution that is very effective without all the waste. The picture to the right shows a three stage robotic cleaning system that both cleans and surface treats parts just prior to painting. All done in a clean room environment with proper air flow and particulate evacuation. Typical yields with Thierica's dry cleaning systems are 95 to 98%.

Thank You To Our Open House Attendees

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2009 Open House. For those of you that were unable to attend, our recent focus has been on Energy Savings. Since most of our customers are looking for ways to reduce operation costs, we've invested a lot of our own "energy" to find ways to save yours. At the open house we featured several energy saving solutions including heat recovery and our recently developed software that monitors and controls the electric usage during peak demand. The hardware and software solutions we are proposing usually have a 6 month ROI.

Contact us to find out how we can help you lower your energy bill!
